Public Grievance Cell (LSGD):
Complaints can be submitted through the Public Grievance Redressal Cell under the Local Self-Government Department. The Department has provided dedicated WhatsApp numbers for submitting complaints regarding delays in service delivery, corruption, and issues related to the 'Waste-Free New Kerala' (Malinya Muktha Nava Kerala) initiative.

Ombudsman for Local Self-Government Institutions
The Ombudsman is a state-level authority for Local Self-Government Institutions established to conduct detailed and general investigations into allegations of corruption, maladministration, and irregularities committed by governing body members (including the President) and officials of local self-government institutions, as well as officers directly or indirectly deployed or transferred to these institutions, while discharging their administrative duties, and to dispose of such complaints in accordance with the provisions of this Act

Tribunal for Local Self-Government Institutions:
The Tribunal for Local Self-Government Institutions is responsible for considering and disposing of appeals and revisions against decisions made by local bodies. The Tribunal is constituted by appointing a legal expert of the rank of a District Judge. The Tribunal is also empowered to express its opinion on any reference received from the Government regarding the legality and propriety of decisions taken by local institutions.
An application against an order must be submitted to the Tribunal in Form C within 30 days from the date of the order. With the Tribunal's permission, a petition or revision may be filed with a delay of up to one month. If no decision has been made on a representation submitted to a local institution within 60 days, it is sufficient to submit an application to the Tribunal within 90 days.
Since there is a possibility of opposition to the application, self-attested copies of the petition along with other relevant documents and affidavits, as far as possible, may be submitted to the Tribunal either directly or by registered post. Along with the application, a Demand Draft (DD) of ₹50 payable at the Tribunal's Thiruvananthapuram office must be enclosed. Additionally, a Legal Benefit Fund stamp worth ₹100 must be affixed to the application."

Chief Minister's Public Grievance Redressal System:
This is an online system for receiving general administrative grievances concerning the government. Launched to resolve public complaints efficiently, the website includes features such as submitting grievances, checking their status, and identifying the officers in charge. It also features dashboards for state services, grievance redressal, and relief fund reports, as well as public testimonials regarding the services. The portal aims to make citizen services more accessible and service-oriented.
Any complaint related to the Local Self-Government Department can be submitted through this. The complaint is forwarded to the concerned department for appropriate action.

Grievance Redressal Mechanism of the Minister for Local Self-Government and Excise
This is a grievance redressal system that connects offices at various levels within the Local Self-Government and Excise departments. The online grievance redressal portal can be used to submit complaints related to these departments to the Minister.
